Quality, safety, and environmental responsibility –

Commitment & Values

Sustainability is built into our products

Närko’s trailers and superstructures last significantly longer than most on the market. We use lightweight, durable materials that reduce fuel consumption and increase transport capacity – making sustainability a built-in feature.

We continuously work to reduce our environmental impact in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 12, to which we are committed.

Our Sustainability Work

Leading the Way Toward an Eco-Friendly Industry

A Climate-Neutral Factory

Our factory in Närpes is already climate-neutral in scope 2, thanks to long-term use of green electricity and biomass-based district heating. This is part of our commitment to lowering our climate footprint and building a more sustainable industry.

Pioneering Scope 3

In 2024, Närko became the first company in the industry to calculate Scope 3 emissions – covering the full climate impact of our value chain. This allows us to target our efforts where they matter most and design even more sustainable transport solutions for the future.
