Närko is participating in the “Christmas Spirit” fundraiser, a charity campaign aimed to support low-income families in Finland. The funds are used to provide food gift cards for Christmas meals.

The fundraiser is carried out by the Finnish Red Cross and the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare in partnership with Yle.

Närko's sustainability efforts continued with full force throughout 2025. Last year's environmental initiatives have now been compiled into our latest Sustainability Report.

This week, Närko welcomed Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Joakim Strand and representatives from the City of Närpes for a company visit focused on long-term growth, competitiveness and ongoing development initiatives within our operations.
