Närko's sustainability efforts continued with full force throughout 2025. Last year's environmental initiatives have now been compiled into our latest Sustainability Report.

This week, Närko welcomed Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Joakim Strand and representatives from the City of Närpes for a company visit focused on long-term growth, competitiveness and ongoing development initiatives within our operations.

Närko celebrates a historic milestone with the completion of its 40,000th unit. The achievement highlights over six decades of quality, technical innovation, and the strength of Team Närko. Driven by the same commitment, Närko continues to shape the future of transport solutions.

Närko is happy to contribute to the “Christmas Spirit” campaign, a nationwide initiative helping families in need by providing food gift cards for Christmas. Every contribution helps make the season brighter.

As the first manufacturer in the industry, Närko has implemented a new painting system that offers even higher quality than before. For the staff, the new system also brings improved ergonomics and a better working environment.

From Finland to NATO. Hundreds of Närko trailers and special-purpose vehicles are already serving the Finnish and Swedish Armed Forces. It’s a world few get to enter — but Närko’s uncompromising quality and proven know-how have opened the door to the future.
